OF BUSINESS AND WITCHES

Finally, the things I saw months ago are fast become a reality. And business is bad. And people are leaving for other businesses out there. And of course, the common sensical part of the leadership is to attack others in defending their own turf. After all, that was what Tsun Zu said in his 'Art of War' right? WRONG!

People do not simply leave for no reasons. There is no need for panic. People leave for only 2 reasons. One, they are lousy and secondly we are lousy. Either way, letting them go is still the best deal for everyone concerned.

But if so, why the big hoo haa, then? The truth is Sir, a corporate leader should behave like a corporate leader, maintaining a certain composure and dignity. One does not go around belittling others in order to defend one's turf. It is absolute self disgrace to berate others just to look good yourself. That says everything about the future of your organisation ( if any).

At the end of the day Lady & Gentleman, look at your own house first. Is everything in order? Less you guys would want to look like absolute fools stop looking for the witches to explain for the bad things coming your way. In plain simple language, you guys made things happened. Good or bad. And it is just the beginning...

All the very best of luck to all of you. And yes, just to remind you, you never owned me. I rented my brains to you, but sadly you guys never made full use of it. Success is always, but a poor teacher!

Goodbye xxxxxxx! And to the rest of you, good luck and enjoy the Ramadhan.

RAMADHAN

Phewww..! Without us realising, Ramadhan is back! It has always been great times, during the Ramadhan. At least everybody for once is forced to eat together at the same time for 'buka puasa'.

FRIENDS

Earlier on, had a meeting with a couple. Some one who bothers beyond just making money. It reaffirms my belief that there are still some decent people out there waiting to be discovered on our journey to the Promised land. Glad to have met this fine couple. It was just like meeting our ownselves.

TO TELL, OR NOT TO TELL

Of course, it has always been a great dilemma to tell people that something has gone sour, that the dream is no longer going to be true and so forth. But, I have come to a conclusion, that not telling the truth is a bigger sin then telling the truth which definitely is going to be hurtful for a while. But that is what that separates the true leader and the leader that only leads for himself.

BUSINESS

It is just pure amazing how positive the response has been from friends and acquaintance alike. In our business history in excess of 8 years in this industry, we have never experienced something that is really moving so fast. We are talking about a genuine business proposition everytime we approached some body on the business potentials.

Am I not glad for finally being able to teach myself to grow and be ready to see every time a friend comes with something to show ?...

Selamat Berpuasa Guys!
Hope you'll enjoy the Ramadhan as much as I do.

Warmest Regards,

M.A.

LIFE LESSONS

It's always painful to find out the commitment we made is not the right one, when not a dime of the financial investment is recovered. We are faced of making a choice at the junction of morality or short term financial gains to cover our losses. But that is always part of growing up into a gem or simply having our beliefs and integrity traded for the pressures we are faced with.

Learning the truth is painful. But ignoring the truth could haunt us for the rest of our life. I have bumped into some people who has made lots of money in the same situation. But none could preserve the wealth. Not a dime! So the answer to the question of whether we should we bow to the demands of the moments or otherwise to be able to stand tall still, is rather obvious.

WHEN GIVING, FORGET ABOUT IT

And so, he came and met me the first night he was around in KL, probably just to humour me. Not anymore subsequently, even when he was around another 2 days at least. No phone calls, no nothing even it was made pretty obvious I was expecting another meeting.

Still remember, when I was the revered one. I would be spending time with his leaders late into the wee hours of the night, having only 2-3 hours of sleep on top of my speaking commitments flying to another town every morning, for a few days in a row. Only fellow speakers would be able to understand how tiring it could be. But I did it in the name of friendship. Giving every single fibre of my being.

But it is now over. The past is past. We cannot continue living in the past. And I have to remind me all the time that when giving, forget about the whole act of giving. Otherwise, it could leave a little hurt down deep within us.

Never mind friend! All the best!

BUSINESS

Was with Abg Ghani from 11.00pm to past mid night at our usual bistro last night.

Always something to learn. The problem with some of us, some people are playing the game to their own set of rules. Fact is, business and life cannot be separated. The man and the businessman is one. How one runs their life shall be reflected in the way they run their business.

It is just like golf. See, if one cheats!

Bye for now. Enjoy your lunch folks. And don't forget the rain later in the evening. Enjoy it as well.

Warmest regards,

M.A.

PAST, PRESENT & THE FUTURE.

Met Richard from Miri tonight at our Bistro near the Vistana. Boy! It is 2 years since! Time flies. With that we are 2 years older and in our case we have to be many times more wiser.
Showed him the Iraqi Dinar and the potentials. No, I could not fathom the dept of his mind over the same. Probably it was like most of us out of that darn ship cruise to nowhere, a case of once beaten but eternally shy!

Anyway, life is not about making a living or making money alone. It is about how much meanings we could create along the journey with the people we bumped into. It is about making a difference to some one else's life. And I think, life is then so worth living instead of merely existing. We learn and get wiser from the past. We cannot continue to live in the past. Enjoy and live life to the fullest in the present. And with the knowledge and the wisdom we learn to see and anticipate the future, so that we can own a better share of things to come.

THE MILLIONAIRE

K & I came along later and related how much our common friend friend has change since amassing in excess of RM 6 million on his adventure into this particular MLM Company. He has lost touch with reality, so to speak. Is this Idi Amin in the making?

THE ARTISTE

Ah.... ! We couldn't help but reflected over this particular artiste going big time in the same MLM Company. Apparently, like Sifu like Student! May God bless him my friend. One fine day, he would wake up only to find all his business gone. Business without the proper foundations has been well documented in the annals of business history of their longevity. Success obviously, is a poor teacher as the cliche goes! This personality was said to have a police case for squandering one of their artistes Association.

Again, let time be the judge. But then, it may be a little too late with many more sacrificial lambs slaughtered along the way as the public joined his business because of his celebrity status. Do we keep quiet over stuff like this when we know it very well that the public is going to fall prey for this celebrity's charms?

Well, it is food for thought. We can't save the entire world, but we can caution friends and acquaintances.

Good night KL!

Yours truly,

M.A.

LESSONS IN OPPORTUNITY

Last night was with K & I and Abg Ghani at our usual bistro dekat Vistana. Earlier was with Datuk Ahmad at Subang Golf Club, my dynamo. And life as always has been a great teacher. There's always something to learn from one another. Sometimes, we need to have someone we showed something, to enable us appreciate what we had in hand.

Imagine that, we need to mirror ourself in the form of another person. Isn't life amazing?

And it cannot be any more true than with the cliche, "It takes the mind to see an opportunity." And if I may in my humblest soul add, "It also takes experience and humility to recognise one." And the size of an opportunity is but also the size of the potentials in one's mind perception.

We cannot be poor unless we allow it to happen to us. I know that through and through.

IRAQI DINAR

This is someting that everbody interested in getting out of the black hole needs to see. Learn about it. Find out. Seek the facts and figures. If even the Israel Government acted in unprecedented act of allowing their citizens buy the Iraqi Dinar (enemy currency prohibited) for another year for investment purpose, then it is almost sinful to be so ignorant of this opportunity of a lifetime.

Doesn't hurt to have a look, but can be extremely hurtful in the future for not having a look now. Take it from me.

THE JOINT

Finally managed to chat with the Joint about 45 minutes ago. The soul that stood by me through thick and thin. Just know it that I appreciate your presence and for what you have done till the end of the world.

Love you. Just take good care and stay healthy.

THE RAIN

PS. It rained almost ever other day in KL now for past week or so. Isn't lovely to have the rain? Loved ever minute of it. Gives the world a different mood and atmosphere everytime it rains. Especially here in KL.

Take care everone!

Bye.

Yours truly,

M.A.

The Essence of Time & Business

BUSINESS

I just couldn't help but wonder how on earth does some people expect to make things happens in business when things are just being done as and when they feel like doing it? Has academic education and qualification being made irrelevant in the context of common sense with the passage of time?

And it is also hurtful when people would only respond to you when their interests are involved. Probably it has to be trendy to them to ignore even messages sent to them right from the bottom of your soul. Well, I guess, caring and loving others is definitely no longer a cool thing to do.

But as usual, I have learned that people needs their own space. No one on this planet has the right to force another breathing soul to be loved and cared for. Sometimes, loving and caring someone dearly is simply having to let them go living their own life. We cannot continue living in the past.

TIME.

It has been quite a while since. And so tonight was another night of waiting for people who has little regard if any, for other people's time. Being in my position, having to prepare for a talk earlier, having it delivered later and thereafter made to wait indefinitely for over 2 hours was quite something.

Well, that is life. Everybody has their own ways of doing things. Despite a high quotient for tolerance, patience did run thin when I started to feel like a complete fool after 2 hours of indefinite waiting. Should we proceed doing business together? I am beginning to doubt it.

Nwevertheless, let's live life to the fullest, without wasting an a split second of our time on trivialities and wastage - for there are always something better to do at the cost of those wasted precious moments. If only people could appreciate how uncerrtain life could be, then probably they might start to look at things from a different perspective.

Why bother hurting yourself when at he end of the day, you only have yourself to rely on?

Good night folks of the past and the present.

Yours truly,

MA.

THE EAST COAST.

Well, lots of happenings since last Thursday. We were in the East Coast, in Kuantan on Thursday 31st August, moving on to Kuala Besut the following day, meeting new faces at new places. Quite a journey and lost of relevation about life and business. Life just reaffirms that learning is a never ending process on life's journey.

Was a little amazed to discover how money and wealth matters to some people, justifying every means taken for as long as the ends materialized.

BUSINESS NOW

Earlier in the afternoon, a fellow speaker and friend called updating me on the latest. Was really sorry to learn what has transpired eventhough I was still hoping that things were only only true in my own mind. But apparently, it goes beyond the little games in my mind. Real sad. But when business is ran without the proper business foundations giving way for some other personal political agendas, the longevity for success then, is definitely not going to be very long. If only you guys know what I knew, see what I have seen, then you would probably understand my comprehension of things.

Tonight, my turn to speak on the business opportunity officilally. Was it an optical illusion that the crowd was getting smaller? Guess not. In a way felt a little guilty speaking on how amazing the business proposition was, knowing already what the outcome would be in the long run. Anyway, will jump off the wagon in 26 days time. It is final.

OPPORTUNITIES

Later after the talk, had a rendevouz with Nazreen and Zul at our usual bistro near Vistana. It was just amazing to discover the number of opportunities out there. Some are just peddling some very basic stuff and yet already earning a 5 figure income in slightly over a year. But frankly, I was more comfortable for the fact that it deals with something real instead of just selling some illusive dreams.

How business is conducted still matters to me. The end can never justify the means. Yes, sir! Even though it doesn't make sense to some of you guys out there. I have to be at peace with myself and the universe by doing the right things right.

As one door closes, a couple more opens... Finally, I have come to the stage of being able to tame my own mind, deliberately and consciously! And it just blew my mind how many doors are waiting to be opened if only one is ready.

All the best to all of you out there. But take some time to enjoy the rainbows and smell the flowers along the way, though. And my friends, you should know by now, how much I appreciate all of you for being my friends.

Good night.
